Matters Of The Heart - Living The Vision

Hello Everyone,

This is Pastor Rick with week 4 of our Power Moments In The Word.  Our first three letters dealt with the relationship of heart, mind and mouth and have given us the essential tools we need to meet the goals and objectives we set for ourselves.  They also have given us the essential tools we need to overcome the stumbling blocks that so often stand in the way.

This week we will be putting these tools to work developing a vision for the increase God has for us to enjoy and living life with expectancy.  If you let the words that follow really sink in, you will be changed.

"Click here for today's Power Moment"

Breakthrough!  Did you wake up this morning with thoughts of Breakthrough?  If not, then there is a sense of expectancy and a vision for increase that God wants to develop in you.  Every successful human being on planet earth has one, and since it is God’s will for you to prosper, you are supposed to have one too.  Proverbs 29:18 says Where there is no vision the people perish.

I want to talk with you today about living life with a vision and with expectancy.  Our expectations set the limits for our lives.  And too many people are not expecting the right things.  They don’t expect to rise any higher.  They go through the day expecting to get the short end of the stick, and they usually do.  What they don’t realize is that their own wrong thinking is keeping them in mediocrity.  So let me say it again:  Our expectations set the limits for our lives.

What, then, should you be expecting?  That’s where your vision for the future comes in.  If your Focus is on the Word of God, your vision is one of prosperity and abundance.  I can say this to you, because God says in His Word in Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  Begin right there and let the Word create a vision of God’s goodness approaching you with tsunami force, bringing with it a flood of peace, creative ideas and the prosperity His Word promises.

Remember, the vision cannot fully take form in your mind until it has taken form in your heart.  So hold up two thumbs and say with me, “God is a good God” and “God loves me.”  And just to emphasize the point, poke yourself in the chest when you say “God loves me.”  If you took the time to do that, you did something very important.  That simple action just sent a message to your heart that the love of God He has placed there is to shape and control everything you do, because you intend to walk In the fullness of that love.  Do you believe that?  Matthew 9:29 says you can have what your faith expects.  So remember, your expectations and what you expect are your “Faith At Work”

Until next week,

2 Peter 1:2   May God’s grace and peace be multiplied
to you through the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
