Keys to winning Every Race

Matters Of The Heart – Decision: The Key To Change Part 3

Hello Everyone,

Walking in the things of God takes discipline, dedication and consecration.  Jesus has paid the price and defeated Satan, but now we must enforce his defeat.  To do that, we have to war in the Spirit and not in the flesh.  Click the "Send To A Friend" box on the left or Subscribe Box (Click Here)  and share these thoughts about

Someone might say "But I don't like the idea of being in a war."  Sorry, but you really don't have a choice.  Although Jesus defeated Satan by His death, burial and resurrection, Satan is not going to "roll over" and play dead.  He's going to challenge you.  He is going to contest your faith.  And if you don't learn to stand your ground, he will have a heyday in your life.

In spiritual warfare, there are only two options:  to advance or to retreat.  If you have decided to advance in the things of God, it means you have decided to use His Word in your mouth as a sword (Ephesians 6:17), saying about yourself whatever He says about you.  And since God says you are blessed, you say you are blessed!  And since God never changes, you never have to swerve or be unsteady or unstable concerning your confession.  You never have to worry about being blessed one day and cursed the next, because He is the Father of lights "...with whom there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."  (James 1:17) !

If you are going to experience something you've never experienced before, you are going to have to step out and do something you've never done before.  That means you're going to have to change your focus from what the devil's doing to what God has done, and is doing, today for His people.  Do you want God to astonish you with His blessings?  Then take a lesson from Peter and "lend" yourself to Him - your time, your attention, your talents, and your possessions.  Then obey Him in everything, taking Him at His Word, and see if life will not be different for you.

If you are ready to take that step, say with me Lord, I give You my time, my attention, my talents and my possessions.  I am ready to obey You in everything.  Honor that obedience, and I will rejoice in Your blessing.  And remember, friend, we're standing with you and believing God for His very best in every area of your life - and that includes your complete prosperity.

Until next week,

2 Peter 1:2  May God’s grace and peace be multiplied
to you through the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
