People often think they have to believe the Word first, before they do any speaking or confessing. But the Word of God has to be in your mouth for it to get into your heart. Remember, we said faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17) The God kind of faith comes by hearing words - God's words. And when those words are coming out of your mouth, you are speaking to your heart and believing unto faith. Now you can understand what Proverbs 3:3 means when it talks about mercy and truth and instructs us to write them upon the table of thine heart. How do you write the Word of God on the tablet of your heart? With your words! You feed your faith by speaking God's Word. Speaking the Word of God transfers the force of faith into your spirit. But notice, it's something you do. It's not God's responsibility, but yours. He has provided the means whereby faith can come. Now the decision is yours: What will you do with God's Word? Speaking or confessing what God says - God's words -does a number of things. Your confession of God's Word can not only cause faith to come to you, but the more you speak the Word Of God, the more you believe it. Likewise, the more you believe the Word, the more you speak it. Paul said in 2 Corinthians 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; As you do this, you will at last, begin to see the image God is trying to paint from the inside out. Then, as you continue to speak, your faith brings forth that image to the outside, to the natural realm and into your experience. And remember, friend, we're standing with you and believing God for His very best in every area of your life - and that includes your complete prosperity.
