Matters Of The Heart - The Law Vs Grace
Hello Everyone,
Most of us were taught the "dos" and "dont's" of God’s Law. Then, as Christians, we learned that the Grace of God replaced the Law of God. For some, this is a difficult concept to grasp, because their teaching about grace is incomplete. If you know someone who still has questions about grace, click the subscribe box (Click Here) on the left and send him

John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. In this one verse we can see the difference between Law and Grace. The Law was given by Moses and demanded obedience in response. Those who failed to keep the Law in every detail were condemned. But, grace and mercy came by Jesus Christ who imparted righteousness to all who received Him. Grace came in the form of a person, Jesus Christ, and in that person every believer is complete. 2 Corinthians 5:21 For he (God) hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
How then should we apply this truth to our own lives. Do not allow the demands of the Law to be mixed with God’s grace! 1 Corinthians 1:30 NLT tells us God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made Him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; He made us pure and holy, and He freed us from sin. Verse 31 then goes on to tell us how to live out this new life. We have to stop trying to be good and begin boasting about how good Jesus has been to us. Therefore, as the Scriptures say, "If you want to boast, boast only about the LORD."
Meditate on this amazing truth. Let it sink deep within your Spirit Man. Then begin to know that as you tell others about the Goodness of God, the only goodness of your own that will ever make any difference is the amount of God's goodness that others can see in you and works through you. And remember, friend, we're standing with you and believing God for His very best in every area of your life - and that includes your complete prosperity.
