In 2 Corinthians 12:3-4 NLT the Apostle Paul tells about being taken up into Paradise and hearing things so amazing that he simply could not repeat them. Yes, only God knows whether I was in my body or outside my body. But I do know that I was caught up to paradise and heard things so astounding that they cannot be expressed in words, things no human is allowed to tell. Have you ever read that scripture and thought how wonderful it would be to have an experience like Paul's? Whenever you have thoughts like that, it's important to remember what Peter said in Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth and said, Truly I see that God is no respecter of persons; What God did for Paul, He will do for you, or any Christian who fears Him and walks in righteousness (Acts 10:35) That certainly sounds exciting, but most believers would have a hard time believing it could apply to them. And that, friend, is the enemy using doubt to drive out faith. Listen to what Paul prayed specifically for the Ephesian believers (and for you.) Ephesians 1:17-18 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what is the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, Paul is praying that you might receive the same spirit of wisdom and revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ that he received. Paul is praying that your revelation will go beyond anything the human intellect can conceive. And with that prayer he is also asking that you receive a revelation of who your brothers and sisters in Christ truly are: part of you and part of Him. If you want Paul's prayer answered in your life, then make this declaration with me. I stand a new creation and receive the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation of my Lord Jesus Christ. The eyes of my understanding are open, and I increasingly see the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, which is the government of His kingdom. And remember, friend, we're standing with you and believing God for His very best in every area of your life - and that includes your complete prosperity.
