Matters Of The Heart - Spirit Of Excellence
Hello Everyone,
The warfare we're talking about is the war between excellence and mediocrity. Click the "Send To A Friend", or Subscribe Box (Click Here) box on the left and share these thoughts with someone you know who needs to find the key to real success in the workplace.

We live in a society where mediocrity is the norm. Many people do as little as they can to get by. They're always looking for the easy way out. If the boss isn’t watching, they're playing on the computer. They simply go to work to pick up a pay check. Then they wonder, why they're not promoted, why they're not seeing the increase they would like to see. Proverbs 10:4 says He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. That's because God blesses excellence.
It honors God to excel in your career, in your vocation, your place of employment. When you are excellent in the workplace, you’re whole life is giving praise to God, and that’s one of the best witnesses you could ever have. When you show up to work on time, with a great attitude, ready to take on the day and win, you are living the scripture that commands Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 5:16)
Colossians 3:23 says it even more directly And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; When we endeavor to do our best, that’s what Honors God. When we adopt this principle, "I’m not going to be late, to the office today, I’m working unto God." then God is honored. And when God is honored, God promotes. Colossians 3:24 says Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
Be a winner in the workplace and make this declaration with me: I am a winner in the workplace. My attitude is one of excellence in all that I do, for I serve the Lord, not just my earthly employer. The Lord rewards me daily for my diligence. And remember, friend, we're standing with you and believing God for His very best in every area of your life - and that includes your complete prosperity.
