Keys to winning Every Race

Hello Everyone,

This is Pastor Rick with a request that you click the "Send To A Friend" link, or Subscribe Box (Click Here)
on the left and make sure that any friend, who has never understood fully what Christ's death, burial, and resurrection truly means reads this week's He Is Risen.

Luke 24:1- 7 NLT But very early on Sunday morning the women went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared.  They found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance.  So they went in, but they didn't find the body of the Lord Jesus.  As they stood there puzzled, two men suddenly appeared to them, clothed in dazzling robes.  The women were terrified and bowed with their faces to the ground.  Then the men asked, "Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive?  He isn't here!  He is risen from the dead!  Remember what He told you back in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and that He would rise again on the third day."

In these seven verses we have the wonderful story of Christ's resurrection from the dead and the great hope that it offers to all mankind.  There is an even more wonderful truth in these verses that many believers do not see immediately, and some never see.  These verses are talking about them!

Colossians 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.  As a believer, it was this same  tomb where you were buried with Jesus and from which you rose with Him and then later ascended with Him to the right hand of God.  This is such a powerful truth we need to embrace it  if we are to do the works of the Great Commission and the greater works that He promised we could do.

It was this amazing truth that caused Paul to say in Galatians 2:20 NLT   My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.  So, say with me I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.  Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world, and the best is yet to come.  Rejoice that this familiar story is also about you and reflect on the much greater significance these words will have for you in the future.  And remember, friend, we're standing with you and believing God for His very best in every area of your life - and that includes your complete prosperity.

He Is Risen!

Until next week,

2 Peter 1:2   May God’s grace and peace be multiplied
to you through the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
