Merry Christmas!

Have you ever considered what the angels were thinking when they announced the birth of the Saviour to the shepherds? They were witnessing something never before seen in Eternity: their Creator, the Lord and second person of the Trinity had set aside all that they had always known about Him and moved to dwell in part of His own creation, the baby Jesus. They knew the prophecy in Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace but now they were seeing it come to pass and they were anxious to learn everything else about this glorious gift of salvation that had been promised for so long.
Peter, speaking of the old time prophets in 1 Peter 1:12 NLT said They were told that their messages were not for themselves, but for you. And now this Good News has been announced to you by those who preached in the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. It is all so wonderful that even the angels are eagerly watching these things happen.
This is the gift we celebrate at Christmas: God has raised all that have received His son Jesus as Lord to sit at His right hand and exercise the authority He has given the Lord over all the things of this earth and all the things that are eternal. So make this declaration with me, My heart rejoices in the Lord and the Grace the Father has poured out upon me. I surrender all that I ever was and open myself completely to walk in the fullness of His salvation that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection. My heart overflows with thanksgiving. If you said that with me, you just assured yourself of the most joyous Christmas ever. And remember, friend, we're standing with you and believing God for His very best in every area of your life - and that includes your complete prosperity. Merry Christmas!
