Hello Everyone, The Tithe - Key To Your Inheritance.
 The argument some Christians hear concerning the Tithe is that it is not mentioned as an ordinance in the New Testament and is therefore not a requirement for the New Testament believer. I believe a compelling case for the Tithe can be made from New Testament scriptures alone and that the reluctance of some Christians to consider the tithe is more a testament to their Heart Attitude about Money than it is to their understanding of Scripture. 2 Timothy 3:16 tells us that ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That means that every scripture in the OLD Testament where the Tithe is discussed is profitable for us as NEW Testament believers. The question is "Profitable for what?" Profitable as an example of how to look at and deal with our money. Profitable to understand how Jesus dealt with His money and that it was not the spirit of the world toward money that motivated Him. 1 Corinthians 2:12 teaches us Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given us of God. God has given us EVERYTHING. He has made us Joint Heirs with Jesus. What is our proper response 1% of our lives?; 2% of our lives?; or Complete Surrender of ALL that we are? I think that question helps understand Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. For me, that settles that Truth. How about you? And remember, the Tithe is not a Law. It's the Key to your Inheritance and entire prosperity.
