Matters Of The Heart - Dealing With Sin

Hello Everyone,

     How many times have you heard the statement "I'm only a sinner saved by grace?"  The people saying that are usually just trying to be Humble, but they are being Misled.  What we should be saying is "I'm a brand new person PROMOTED by Grace."  In 2 Corinthians 5:17 AMP it says Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away.  Behold, the fresh and new has come!

     So, why are so many being deceived?  Because they do not understand that sin is a weapon used by the enemy to keep them from ever enjoying the abundant life Jesus has promised to give them.  Instead, they get trapped in sin consciousness, guilt, and fear of punishment and completely lose sight of the fact that God has declared them RIGHTEOUS.  Now, when sin trips us up, we simply have to confess it and know that God  ...is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  (1 John 1:9)

     Where sin is forgiven, and evil tendencies are now recognized as darts thrown by the enemy to deceive, the Word of God will begin to produce fruit, the believer will begin to use his Authority, and the Kingdom of God will advance.  Sin no longer has the power to condemn the believer, only to keep him from moving in his inheritance.

     So declare with me now, say this out loud I am a new creation, a joint heir with Jesus to all God has given me.  My heart recognizes all evil tendencies as attacks by the enemy and shows me how to deal with them.  I Focus on God's Grace and see the fruit of His Word prosper my life.  I am an overcomer by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of my testimony.  Sin no longer has a part in my Heart.  Just remember, friends, your Words have power to change the Issues of your heart and alter the course of your life forever.  And remember this too, we're standing with you and believing God for His very best in every area of your life - and that includes your complete prosperity.
