Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: There is revelation in these words that not everyone sees immediately. In Romans 13:12, Paul talks about the armor of light and shows us how to obey the command in Romans 13:14 ...clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.... Wherever the Lord is present, it is impossible for the enemy to prevail against us. Each of the items in the armor of God is part of Jesus. When all the pieces are present, Jesus, Himself, stands against the enemy. Jesus is the Truth. Jesus won the battle against Satan at the cross. He stands in victory over him throughout eternity and in victory for you, as you stand clothed in His presence. And remember, friend, we’re standing with you and believing God for His very best in every area of your life – and that includes your complete prosperity.
