Matters Of The Heart – The Revelation Life
Hello Everyone,
In John 5:30 NLT Jesus tells us how He operated while on this earth I can do nothing on my own. I judge as God tells me. Therefore, my judgment is just, because I carry out the will of the one who sent me, not my own will. Jesus was operating by revelation from the Father, not by information. And we are to do likewise! Jesus was showing us how Adam originally operated in the garden of Eden, an ability he lost when he disobeyed God and ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Ever since then, human beings have operated by information only until Jesus arrived and restored what Adam had lost.
Galatians 2:20 NLT gives us the key to living the revelation life. My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Jesus never changes and still lives by revelation, only now we can live that way too, as long as we trust Him.
That seems simple enough, but how can we know we are really hearing from God and not our own minds or from some other spirit? The Word Of God and the Holy Spirit will always guide us correctly. No matter what the question, we can turn to the Word and know the Holy Spirit will guide us to the answer. This is why Paul said in Acts 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. He knew that the Word held the answer to all the questions in life, because Jesus had prayed to the Father in John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
When we rest in the Word of God we enter that place where the mind of Christ controls us and the Holy Spirit can confidently assure us And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. (Isaiah 30:21) So, remember, friend, we’re standing with you and believing God for His very best in every area of your life – and that includes your complete prosperity.
