Matters Of The Heart - Genuine Humility

Hello Everyone,

     When was the last time you looked someone in the eye and said "I am the light of the world?"  Probably never.  You wouldn't feel very humble if you did that.  Yet Jesus said exactly that about you in Matthew 5:14 You are the light of the world.  A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.  You see, "Feeling Humble" has nothing to do with the matter.  Genuine Humility is a Heart Recognition that without the Lord you can't pull it off, but with God you can do all things.  Now listen carefully to these two verses.  In Mark 10:27 ...Jesus looking at them said, With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.  Then in Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things - that's the same "all things" that are possible for God - are possible to him who believes.  That is a gift of God.  That my friends, is GRACE.

     Grace is a gift to us that produces not only eternal salvation, but Access to the God-kind of life on this earth, as well.  If we don't understand the Grace Of God and its operation in our lives, then we limit the things salvation can do for us.  Understanding the application of God's Grace to our lifestyles is absolutely essential to experience the fullness of life He's made available to us.

     God's will and plan is to exalt you, and 1 Peter 5:6 says He will do exactly that, as you increasingly humble yourself under His mighty hand.  When you set aside your own strength and importance you free Him to shower you with more Visibility, more and more Influence, more Success, and more Increase.  The reason why is simple.  When you're living for Him, your life will be a continual statement that He is the only one who gets the glory, not you.

      So, make this declaration with me:  My heart recognizes the Grace of God and reminds me constantly that without Him I can do nothing, but with Him, I can do all things, because I am a believer.  Grace is the focus of my faith, and I abound in the benefits of salvation.  I walk by Faith and not by sight.   We're standing with you, dear friends and believing God for His very best in every area of your life - and that includes your complete prosperity.
